Backend Symfony Developer

Job description

We’re looking for a backend PHP developer with a solid 2-4 years of development to work with us on upcoming mobile and web projects. You will be part of our multi-skilled development team, and will be expected to pick up a brief and architect from scratch. You should be a natural problem solver with good communication skills, passionately interested in new technologies and techniques and strive to keep learning and improving.

Job requirements

  • Symfony Framework
  • PHP 7.x
  • Relational database technologies such as MySQL
  • Version control - GIT and GIT Workflow
  • Unit testing with PHPUnit
  • Solid understanding and working knowledge of Web Server technologies

Additional skills an advantage but not essential:
  • A computer science or related degree
  • Alternative PHP Frameworks such as Laravel, etc.
  • Experience of having your work Penetration Tested
  • An understanding of Amazon AWS Infrastructure
  • Knowledge of non relational database technologies such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.
